The Foundation
Founded by Charles Boyes and Abiott Senoamadi. The Group began acquiring rights for coal, anthracite, iron ore, ilmenite, titanium, and vanadium across Mpumalanga, Limpopo, KZN, and North-West.
Internal Mining Capability
Established an in-house mining company focused on coal and anthracite opportunities. Built the technical foundation for large-scale extraction and processing.
Yukocron Incorporation
Yukocron Mining (Pty) Ltd formally incorporated on 10 July 2019. The Group launched its first large-scale ilmenite and vanadium mine in Limpopo, diversifying the asset base beyond coal.
Underground Expansion
Commissioned Wakefields Colliery Underground. Deployment of Continuous Miners, Shuttle cars, and Roof bolters, achieving 1000 Fatality Free production shifts.
Technological Leadership
The new in-processing plant in Limpopo Province nears completion. This facility represents the Group's peak capability in skills transfer from coal operations to specialized heavy mineral beneficiation.
